I am very happy to support this great charity. It´s a heart project from many actors of One Chicago. See how they support this organisation and maybe you also want to join and support or donate.
About Patrick lives on:
We are a group of loving and determined citizens fighting for the safety of all school-age children in the Chicagoland area. We produce anti-gun violence Public Service Announcements (PSAs). We also develop and produce Educational Outreach Programs which teach conflict resolution to our children. Students learn to verbally communicate and intelligently address confrontations with their words, not with violence.
PATRICK LIVES ON…To End Gun Violence is a group of loving and determined citizens taking a stand in support of the safety of all school-age children in the Chicagoland area. Patrick Lives On provides financial assistance to junior high and high school students for extra-curricular activities enabling them to lead positive and productive paths in life. In addition, The Patrick Boswell Courage Award has been established in all Chicagoland 8th grades to encourage and reward students who resist gangs, guns, and violence.
The Patrick Lives On message is distributed through the production of Public Service Announcements and charity fundraising events designed to drive community and corporate awareness.
Dedication to keeping kids off the streets is the fuel for their passion.
PATRICK LIVES ON …To End Gun Violence stands by its motto “BE STRONG. USE YOUR WORDS. NOT GUNS.”
Patrick Lives On . . . To End Gun Violence believes every child deserves an opportunity to lead a positive and productive path. We are committed to:
Establishing The Patrick Boswell Courage Award in every 8th Grade School across the USA!
Raising $1.5M to help 3,000 Chicagoland children every year participate in positive and life-affirming activities.
Every $500 donation provides a child with the opportunity to participate in an extra-curricular activity of their choice.
We want to honor Patrick Boswell, a wonderful boy who lost his life to gun violence when he was only 14 years old in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Through our Public Service Announcements, we want all Americans to understand the gun violence epidemic is everyone’s problem, and all voices are needed to send a message to end gun violence.
Our scholarship programs encourage children to engage in positive year-round activities to discover their passions and reduce the chance of them being lured into gangs and gun violence.
